Hello everyone, I am back with another simple article on how I find motivation and inspiration in day-to-day life. A lot of time I tend to feel lazy, not feel like working, or just those tough days procrastinating important things. Especially after being a mother, a break from professional life has held me back in terms of work-life hustle. I don’t want to be hard on myself but I also want to be proactive as my child is already one. So, here are the three simple ways that keep me pushing to get out of my comfort zone.

Family members, peer groups, or people around you:

I know this sounds very cliché, but who else other than a hard-working family member, a peer, or a person around you will inspire you? There is always a person in your life who is well-disciplined and knows their stuff. If not all these characteristics in one person at least one person for each of these characteristics can be found in every family. For example; you might have an aunt who is working even after retirement, for whatever reason it is, or you might get inspiration from your mother/father/brother/sister/husband who is relentlessly working for the betterment of your family (especially in a middle-class family).

Not all the time do you want to follow a celebrity, a leader, or an influencer to get motivated, sometimes it's best to see your own people and get inspired, to just keep moving forward. Also analyzing your own life and the members in your life always helps you achieve more, rather than falling for something which you have no complete idea about.... this kind of show-off on social media has led to so many hazards including depression, anxiety and what not.. real life is so far from all the merriment we see on the screen! So real-life inspiration is far better than reel-life inspiration.

Meaning and purpose of your life:

We should always have the why-power within ourselves. Asking questions to self like; why should I do this thing? What is the purpose behind this action? will help you find the meaning behind your work and also the purpose of your life. I feel like we all have our own purpose to serve and it's the most precious thing to do and also it gives us a sense of satisfaction in our souls.

I usually ask myself what is the purpose of my life? How can I serve the world with my talent or skill set? And so on. By doing this exercise we can push ourselves to be proactive and create new things.

Connecting with nature:

Oh boy, I can write pages and pages about this topic. It's the most important trick I follow, whenever I feel stuck, demotivated, procrastinating, etc., keeping all the gadgets aside, just taking a walk in the park, gardening, or maybe even taking a trip to a beach or a hill station is always refreshing. It helps us clear up our minds and gives us a creative space to come up with new fresh ideas. Nature is always healing, it has the power to guide us through difficult times.

A weekend, or maybe one day or even an hour of taking the time out for ourselves without gadgets will definitely bring us a newer perspective in life. I can still remember our childhood days when we used to spend time doing hundred different activities without phones, laptops, or any other technology. Yes, all of these new-generation techs are good but only to a certain extent. So, again nature has healing powers, and it's always a good idea to connect with nature more often.

Hopefully, all the above tips have given you some motivation or ways to find it. If you liked it, like the article, leave a comment, and also subscribe to my website.

- Lots of love,

Deeksha
