A Day Flower

I know the title day flower leaves you with a question mark! But trust me after you know the reason behind it you will agree with me fully. Why flower ? Why not leaves? You may ask, Just when I was roaming in my mother's beautiful garden looking after my son, I saw a beautiful dark pink Dahlia flower fully blooming and just peaceful dangling in the wind. That's when I felt the flower is more in peace than me.

Right now my life is all about motherhood and being a woman you won't be able to stick to one job or one responsibility. You have to balance all the roles in life with calm and patience. I feel nobody wants to know what I want, what I need and what do I feel? That's when it struck my mind how would it be if I were a flower just for a day and within minutes I started writing a poem about it!

Even for a day the flower blooms, enjoys the wind, the sunshine, the rain and withers along with the sun! I know the short span is bit saddening, but I feel like even though it's a small span it's a beautiful, peaceful, colorful life of a flower. I wish I would be a flower just for a day!

So that I would be in peace not bothering anything or anyone.
